The products available from Pure Tide Labs are intended strictly for research and laboratory use only. By purchasing or using any products from this website, you acknowledge and agree that all materials are supplied solely for scientific research, laboratory experimentation, or analytical purposes.

These products are not intended for human or veterinary use, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Research compounds and peptides must be handled responsibly and only by qualified professionals in appropriate laboratory environments.

Important: Pure Tide Labs products are supplied only for legitimate research use and must not be used outside lawful laboratory settings.

2. Research Use Only Designation

Products labelled “Research Use Only” (RUO) are chemical or biological compounds manufactured and supplied exclusively for laboratory research and analytical purposes. They are not licensed as medicines and are not foods, food supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, or medical treatments.

RUO materials are intended for:

  • Laboratory research and experimentation
  • In-vitro studies
  • Analytical testing and validation
  • Scientific investigation and educational research

RUO products must never be used for human or animal consumption or for clinical or diagnostic purposes.

3. Regulatory Compliance

Pure Tide Labs operates in accordance with applicable UK research chemical regulations and industry standards.

Research Use Only products:

  • Hold no marketing authorisation from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for any use
  • Are not intended for therapeutic, diagnostic, or clinical applications
  • Must not be marketed or represented as treatments for disease
  • Must only be handled in appropriate research environments

Under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, a product is a medicine if it is presented as treating or preventing disease, or if it is used or administered to restore, correct, or modify physiological functions. How a product is labelled, advertised, and described is taken into account. A medicine may not be sold or supplied in the UK without the appropriate authorisation, and product claims are also subject to the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (CAP Code).

4. Customer Responsibilities

By purchasing products from this website, the customer represents and warrants that:

  • They are at least 18 years of age.
  • They are a qualified researcher, laboratory professional, or institution capable of handling research chemicals safely.
  • The products will be used solely for lawful laboratory research purposes.
  • They understand that the materials are not for human or animal use.
  • They will comply with all applicable UK and international laws and regulations governing research chemicals.

Customers agree that they assume full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of all materials purchased from Pure Tide Labs.

6. Product Handling & Safety

Research compounds and peptides must be handled with appropriate safety precautions, including:

  • Following all applicable chemical safety guidance, including COSHH

Material should be stored within the conditions stated on the Certificate of Analysis issued for that lot. Improper handling or misuse may pose health and safety risks.

7. Documentation & Traceability

Each production lot is analysed by an independent laboratory using HPLC and mass spectrometry, and issued a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis recording product identity, measured purity, analytical methods, appearance, lot number, and date of analysis.

The lot number printed on the vial label corresponds to the certificate supplied with the order. Customers requiring documentation for their records should contact us with the lot number.

Certificates describe the material as tested. They are not a representation that any product is safe or effective for any use in humans or animals.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pure Tide Labs shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from:

  • Misuse of products
  • Use outside of research environments
  • Failure to follow proper laboratory procedures
  • Breach of applicable laws or regulations

All products are sold for research purposes only and, to the extent permitted by law, without any warranty of fitness for any other purpose. Nothing in this policy limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law, and it does not affect your statutory rights.
